About Us

Our Story

We are a small family farm growing organic berries and vegetables only half an hour south of Silicon Valley. Our U-pick operation is well known all over the San Francisco Bay Area! We grow the sweetest, best-tasting berries and farm fresh vegetables.

Farmer Ron was born and raised on a farm in northwestern Europe and has been working in the ag industry all of his life. He moved to the SF Bay Area in 2008, when he was working for an international vegetable seed company. Getting tired of corporate life, Ronald decided to start growing berries and vegetables as a hobby, a hobby that got out of hand quickly!

At Berry Island Farms, we take pride in growing fresh, organic berries and specialty produce. Among our customers are Michelin star-rated restaurants!
